Viradāman was the first of four sons of Dāmasena who came to the throne. He started issuing coins in S. 156, while his father was still on the throne,
indicating perhaps that he was the heir apparent. He continued issuing coins, as kshatrapa only, until 160, which is the last we hear of him.
