Simhasena was the son of Rudrasena III's sister and succeeded his uncle. His dates are still unclear as most coins have the date off the flan. Some coins have
been identified as early as 300, which could make sense since that was the last known year of Rudrasena III. There might be a coin as late as 307. Note the elaborate
legends on these coins.
